Need a hand with GameTime?
You'll get a reply from an actual person — usually within one business day, and always within two. iPhone and Android both covered.
Before you email
The three things that fix most problems
Times look wrong
GameTime shows every session in each person's own local time — so the same session reads differently for each player. That's the point, not a bug. If it's wrong for you, check your phone's time zone is set to update automatically.
Someone can't join
They need GameTime installed first — the invite opens in the app, not a browser. Once it's installed from either store, ask them to open your invite link again.
No session notifications
iPhone: Settings → Notifications → GameTime, allow them, and turn off Scheduled Summary. Android: Settings → Apps → GameTime → Notifications, and check battery optimisation isn't restricting it in the background.
FAQ
Common questions
The times shown look wrong for my friends
GameTime converts every session into each player's own local time, so one session genuinely shows as a different clock time for each person — that's the whole feature. If the time looks wrong for you, your phone's time zone is the thing to check: on iPhone, Settings → General → Date & Time → Set Automatically; on Android, Settings → System → Date & time → Set time zone automatically. Travelling or a recent daylight-saving change is the usual culprit.
Someone I invited can't join the group
They need GameTime installed first — the invite opens in the app rather than a browser. Ask them to install it from the App Store or Google Play, then tap your invite link again. If it still won't connect, email us the group name and we'll look from our side.
I'm not getting notifications about sessions
On iPhone: Settings → Notifications → GameTime, turn on Allow Notifications, then check Scheduled Summary is off for GameTime and that no Focus mode is silencing it.
On Android: Settings → Apps → GameTime → Notifications, make sure they're allowed. Then check battery optimisation — Android can restrict background apps aggressively, which delays or drops scheduled reminders. Setting GameTime to "unrestricted" battery usage fixes most cases.
Is GameTime free?
Yes — free to download from the App Store and Google Play.
Which devices does GameTime work on?
iPhone and Android. Everyone in a group needs the app, but it doesn't matter which platform each person is on — iPhone and Android players can share the same group and see the same sessions in their own local time.
How do I delete my account and data?
Fill in the account deletion request form. We process every request within 30 days, and once data is deleted it can't be recovered. What we hold and why is in the GameTime privacy policy.
How do I report a bug or suggest a feature?
Email development@digitalsauce.io. The most useful report includes your device model, your OS version, the app version, and a screenshot or screen recording if you can manage one. Feature requests are welcome.
